Kawakawa & Hemp Seed Soap

Kawakawa (Macropiper excelsum) is well known in NZ by the Maori for its healing properties.

Used commonly for healing wounds, bruises, minor cuts, infections, eczema and Psoriasis

With the addition of Hemp seed oil  ( cannabis sativa) which contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D and E, the most valued property of hemp seed oil is its percentage of essential fatty acids, which is higher than any other plant in the world. It contains omega-3 and omega-6 in a proportion of 3:1 which is the recommended balance. These fatty acids are necessary for the luster in our skin, hair. Hemp seed oil is shown to assist with Eczema,Psoriasis, Acne, Dry skin and dry hair.

Hemp seed oil is an anti-inflammatory,  anti-ageing and balances dry skin. The vitamins and minerals present are easily absorbed through the skin.

Manuka honey well known for its antibacterial, antifungal and anti inflammatory benefits. Great qualities in any soap.
